About AspenOUT

Founded in 1977, AspenOUT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting tolerance, understanding, and diversity through education and community action. Known for organizing the celebrated annual Aspen Gay Ski Week, AspenOUT advocates for LGBTQIA+ rights and inclusive communities worldwide.

This partnership is officially announced during Aspen Gay Ski Week (AGSW) 2025, held in Aspen, Colorado from January 12–19, 2025.

"AspenOUT is thrilled to join forces with Voda to provide accessible and affirming mental health resources for LGBTQIA+ individuals in rural communities. Together, we hope to pave the way for healthier, more resilient lives by drawing attention to this serious issue and working to scale up this program while also inspiring others to follow suit."

Frequently asked questions.

What is Voda?

Voda+ is a mental wellness platform created for LGBTQIA+ individuals. It provides access to guided therapy programs, tools for managing mental well-being, and culturally competent support developed by LGBTQIA+ therapists.

What does a Voda+ scholarship include?

A Voda+ scholarship gives you 12 months of access to guided therapy programs, tools for managing stress and anxiety, and support for personal growth. It also includes resources tailored specifically to LGBTQIA+ mental health experiences.

How do I redeem my Voda+ scholarship?

You can redeem your scholarship in just a few steps. We'll send you detailed instructions in the email.

What information do I need to provide to apply?

Application questions include your email, where you're based, why you're interested in using the Voda app and an agreement to actively use the app and share feedback for program improvement.

Is the app discreet?

The app is designed to be discreet. The app logo is designed to be simple, and you will not receive notifications on your phone with references to LGBTQIA+ issues. This is because we recognise that many of us might like to receive notifications in a way that is discreet and non-intrusive.

Our audio programmes and wellness exercises often reference LGBTQIA+ issues, and so you might wish to listen to the audio programmes with earphones on, or in a private space where you can listen and journal without being disturbed.

How do I support this initiative?

Want to support LGBTQIA+ mental health in rural communities? You can help by donating to expand this scholarship program and enable us to reach even more individuals in need.

Trusted by over 25,000 LGBTQIA+ users worldwide

"Voda came in when I was in a very low place. I don't feel as comfortable with a therapist, but with this app I can be honest without fear of any judgement."
